PhD
I studied chemistry at the University of Tübingen and then did my doctorate. On the one hand, the period of the doctoral thesis was great (learning new methods, giving lectures, attending conferences, guest scientist in the USA) and on the other hand it presented me with many challenges (no more motivation, project is not running, lack of support). After 3 years I successfully defended and then found a job in the private sector.
CHEMIST
Since starting my career 10 years ago, I have worked in the fields of pharmaceutical research, food analysis and analytical instruments for multinational and medium-sized companies. I have experience in technical sales for HPLC and was a team and department manager for 10 employees.
COACH
Since 2017 I have been working as a freelance coach for scientists on the topics of doctoral studies and careers. I offer appointments for individuals as well as workshops for groups and lectures.

NETWORKING: CHEMISTRY AND ECONOMICS
Since 2017 I have been organizing the monthly get-together of the Association for Chemistry and Economics (VCW), a specialist group of the Society of German Chemists (GDCh). We connect working scientists in Munich. More information: https://www.gdch.de/vcw-stammtische.html
MULTI-TALENTED
I have always been interested in many different areas of knowledge and I like to learn for fun. In fact, it was only late in my professional life that I found out that I was highly gifted. Since then I have been dealing a lot with the topic of intelligence and the advantages and disadvantages it can have in life.
